Breadcrmb is a personal insight tracker built for people doing the work — therapy, coaching, self-reflection, growth. It lives on your iPhone home screen and feels like a native app. Here is everything it can do right now.
Your Trail
Your entries live on a visual timeline called your Trail. Entries are grouped by month, color-coded by category, and displayed with a calm dark aesthetic that does not get in the way of your words. Each card shows the category, the date as a mini iOS calendar badge, and any tags you have applied.
Four Trail Styles
Breadcrmb lets you pick the homepage layout that fits how you think. Your preference is saved and syncs across devices. Choose from:
- Classic — Clean dark cards with a colored left accent strip. Simple and legible.
- Hiking Map — A dotted trail spine with entries zigzagging left and right like waypoints on a map.
- Path of Crumbs — Large circular category nodes connected by a bold dotted line. Gamified and playful.
- Constellation — Glowing themed stars on a dark sky, connected by lines. Tap a star to read the entry.

Rich Entry Editor
Entries are written in Markdown with a live write/preview toggle. You can embed photos — tap the image button to upload from your camera roll. Photos are stored securely and rendered inline in your entries.
Tags
Tag any entry with as many keywords as you like. Tags appear as chips on timeline cards and the detail page. The Tag Insights page (/tags) shows all your tags sized by frequency, plus a monthly presence grid so you can see which themes recur over time.
End-to-End Encryption
Your notes are encrypted with AES-GCM 256-bit before they ever leave your device. Only you hold the key. Breadcrmb cannot read your entries. A passphrase unlock screen protects your session, with auto-unlock via sessionStorage so you are not prompted on every page load.
Account & Profile
Set your display name, bio, timezone, and avatar (Gravatar or custom upload). Your profile page shows your post count and longest streak. Quick-action icons give you one-tap access to Trail Style, Export, admin tools (if applicable), and Sign Out.
Export
Download all your entries as a Markdown file or print them to PDF. Your words, your data, always portable.
Invite-Only Access
Breadcrmb is currently invite-only. Admins can invite new members by email directly from the admin panel — a magic link is sent via Supabase. The admin panel shows all signed-up users, entry counts, and join dates.
Native iPhone Experience
Breadcrmb is a Progressive Web App. Add it to your iPhone home screen from Safari and it launches full-screen, no browser chrome. Safe areas, SF Pro typography, 44pt touch targets, and smooth transitions make it feel like it belongs on iOS.
